How could we have a Wine Dog of the Month column and not include one of our own dogs? Otis may not roam a vineyard on a daily basis, but he gets plenty of whine experience hanging around the WI office with our other two dogs. He’s the most recent addition to our furry brood and is also the youngest. He hails from downtown East Los Angeles (yikes!) and hung with a dubious crowd we’re told. He’s part Chihuahua and part terrier, which makes for a good combination of traits when trying to survive the streets where he was found. He has certainly perfected his mooch act, and he knows it is most effective when the wine bottle is open and the hors d’oeuvres are being passed.

RIP December 21, 2017, Otis is now with Hamish & Max. He is survived by his good canine friend, Jax, and his loving human family. Otis will be missed.
