We’ve found a way to recycle all those wine bottle corks if you don’t want to keep them around the house. ReCORK is an idea popped off by Amorim, the world’s largest producer of natural cork wine closures, and co–sponsored by SOLE, a leading footwear maker, who uses the recycled cork in its shoes. You can drop your natural corks (no plastic ones) at their collection points or they’ll send you a prepaid mail label for shipping 15 lbs of the lightweight stoppers. Another source that seems to have more collection points is Cork Reharvest.
